📚 So this is what true love looks like? 🌙 Recensi 📚 So this is what true love looks like?🌙 Recension: The Way Back To You by Hayden Fox📚 Genre: Romance📅 Release Date: June 16, 2026📗 included in Kindle Unlimited📱 Read as: Kindle💸 I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.🗣️ Language: English📆 Pages: 508⭐️ 4/5This is a book I had really high hopes for. It started out by grabbing my attention immediately. We meet Ken and her 2.5-year-old son. Being a single parent is not easy, and the daily challenges that come with that came across very well. We also meet Kai, who finds out that she kept his son from him, and when he confronts her about it, they both have to face their past and find a way to move forward. The dual POV (at the end we get a brief 3rd one) and the switching between past and present helped to highlight the connection between the two of them. They started out as childhood friends and evolved into something more during their teenage years. If you want to see a couple in love that feels believable and has you rooting for them to find their way back to each other, this is the one. I believed every bit of their love story and understood why the connection is still there when they meet again after a few years of no contact.Ken never learned to love herself, and being Black came with a unique set of challenges while growing up. Kai never considered the colour of her skin to be relevant. Both of them had to face the reality of their relationship over the years, and this was portrayed very well.Their attempt to find their way back to each other came with a lot of unique hurdles to overcome. They cannot ignore what happened, but they also want to move on. I was rooting for them.If the story had stayed focused on that and on them building a future together, I would have made it perfect to me. Part of the final bit of the story did not fully resonate with me and I wanted the focus to stay on their connection. That does not take away from it being a very enjoyable read. #arcread#thewaybacktoyou
✨ COVER REVEAL ✨ Look at that cute cover by @autho ✨ COVER REVEAL ✨Look at that cute cover by @authorruthstilling for Code Violation, a Hockey Romance, releasing September 17thCode Violation by @authorruthstilling RELEASE DAY: 17th September, 2026 GENRE: Sports RomanceTROPES/VIBES:🏒 Hockey Romance🚫 Brother's Ex-Girlfriend🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Found Family🤰 Accidental Pregnancy😣 Protective Grumpy NHL Captain❤️‍🩹 No Third Act Breakup Synopsis:	BLURB I’m in love with my brother’s ex-girlfriend.After years of acting like Vesper Stone isn’t the girl of my dreams, I owe it to myself to be honest, even if the confession can only ever remain a secret. There are so many reasons why I should forget about her. As the captain of the Seattle Rogues, I shouldn’t betray my only sibling, and I ought to honor the promise I made to our late mom to stand by him.But my brother isn’t a good man, and I can’t take my eyes off the stunning bartender with sleek black hair and a smile that falters whenever she gets a text from the guy who never deserved her.Voicing my feelings is a terrible idea. My brother isn’t only a bad person, but he’s dangerous, too, and my top priority is protecting the one girl I can never have. But I didn’t make it as a pro hockey player without going after what I wanted, and regardless of who she is to my family, I can’t stop showing up at her apartment.Maybe we can just be friends. I’d rather have that than lose her altogether. My brother doesn’t need to know we hang out and eat pizza while watching a movie. But friends don’t hold their breath whenever they catch each other’s gaze, and they definitely don’t do what we did the other night …I should walk away. For her.For us.For the sake of keeping the peace. So, why am I standing outside Vesper’s door right now, ready to lay my heart on the line? And why am I about to speak the words I vowed to take to my grave?Because now that I’ve had her in my bed, I’ll go to war to keep her—and our baby—forever.#RuthStilling #HPRCodeViolationCoverReveal #HockeyRomance

📚 Some books will stay with you forever. 🌙 Recens 📚 Some books will stay with you forever.🌙 Recension: You Can't Hurry Second Chances by Michelle Stimpson📚 Genre: Fiction📅 Release Date: May 5, 2026📖 Publisher: Recorded Books👤 Narrator: Robin Miles📗 available in various formats | Audible📱 Read as: Audiobook💸 I received a free copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.🗣️ Language: English📆 Pages / Listening Length: 10h 3min⭐️ 5/5Review:We meet Joyce, who has simply had enough of being stuck in her marriage after 30 years - only to realise she’s essentially been looking after yet another child (her husband). Her frustration, paired with the excitement of starting a new chapter in her life, comes across brilliantly. The narrator did an amazing job of bringing her to life and made it even easier to connect with her emotionally. Now starting over, Joyce has to adapt to life in a small town, sharing her space with a younger tenant and dealing with some very noisy locals -along with Richard, who seems quite taken with her. As she tries to find her footing, her daughter adds another layer of tension by judging her for choosing herself and disrupting the life she was used to. The expectation that Joyce should continue to prioritise everyone else - especially being relied on as a constant babysitter - was frustrating to witness. It was difficult not to feel for Joyce in these moments. She’s a grown woman making her own choices, and choosing herself should never be something she’s blamed for. However, Joyce quickly realises that starting over isn’t as easy as she’d hoped. Building new friendships, navigating a completely different environment, and being seen as someone who needs help simply because she’s “older” (rather than because she asked for it) all add realistic layers to her journey. These moments make the story feel raw, honest, and relatable.Sometimes you come across a book that feels like a warm hug, and this is definitely one of them. It restores a sense of hope in humanity, showing that people can still support each other regardless of age, background, religion, or anything else. It might sound a bit dramatic, but that’s exactly what I took from it.#youcanthurrysecondchances
