Review:

When you find a key to a storage unit and discover a lot of cash inside, what would you do? Especially if something else comes with it? How far would you be willing to deviate from your moral compass?

That was a very interesting premise, and I was not expecting it to become such a complex story. The three women initially appear to be a very close-knit group. They have known each other for many years and are always there for one another when needed. However, looking a little closer, it becomes clear that they are keeping things from each other, things that could ruin their friendship. Adding money and even more secrets to an already messy situation is certainly not their smartest idea. Did it make for a very engaging story? Absolutely.

Especially when you add a complicated and messy family situation that connects many of the storylines, making it clear that they’ve opened a can of worms that will eventually come back to bite them.

A fast-paced story, multiple POVs, and plenty of twists made this an enjoyable read for me. By now, this is exactly what I expect from the author, and she did not disappoint. 🙂
