Synopsis:
The year is 2070 and Gen-X retirees Magdalena and Sam are resigned to live out their days at Shady Grove Retirement Home. But when Sam can’t take another boring day inside the sterile institution, he convinces Maggie to break out. How far will the two nonagenarians get driving the California coast in a stolen van?
Sam and Magdalena’s Great Escape is a novelette– longer than a short story, shorter than a novella.

Review:
From a 41 page sort story you cannot expect too much, so I took it for what it is. Something short and sweet 🙂
We meet to elderly people being friends forever desciding one day that living in an assisted living facility is boring and they want to take a day trip to *spice* their life up a bit one more time. One day to remind themselfes about the things that had them be friends for so long and they take us along for the ride.
This is for everyone that has 20-30min available and wants to spend them with reading.
