Review:

What started out as a relaxing day at the beach quickly becomes the scene of a gruesome discovery. She and her partner quickly learn that there is more to the story and that everything points to a boat accident, which raises more questions than answers.
This is a story about the secrets people keep, the consequences of their actions, and the search for the truth.

The highlight of the story for me was the growing friendship between Eden and her partner(s). Her K9 companion obviously cannot be forgotten either. 🙂
Eden is someone who doesn’t accept “no” for an answer. If she knows something fishy is going on, she will not stop until she gets to the bottom of it. Not everyone appreciates that particular trait of hers, and when her boss told her to stop, fearing the repercussions of her poking the wrong rich bear, I was frustrated for her.
Her connection with Sophie was also very special to witness.
I enjoyed this one a lot, although I still feel that the first two books in the series have been the strongest for me so far. The audiobook was a pleasure to follow along to and the narrator did a very good job to bring the story across.
