Review I Stole Your Family by Daniel Hurst

This is the second book in the series:

Synopsis:

She has everything to lose…

Opening the door, I kiss my handsome man and smile as the children run into the home I’ve spent all day making perfect. I still can’t believe that I’m living in this warm, safe place that’s filled with laughter. But I’m always looking over my shoulder because I know that my gorgeous family could be taken away from me in a heartbeat.

Because one woman has every reason to try and destroy me.

She’s watching and waiting for me to mess up. But I know what it’s like to have nothing and I’m determined not to let anyone come between me and the dream life I’ve worked so hard for.

Even if this family belonged to her first…

Review:

I already thought the first book in the series was a wild and chaotic ride, but the second one doesn’t slow down for a moment. The suspense kept me glued to my screen, and the ending perfectly sets the stage for what’s to come in the third book.

We reconnect with the characters about a year after the events of the first book. Some of them seem to be coping better with everything that happened, while others are clearly still struggling. Watching how easily Luna was able to carry out her plan – and how no one suspected her involvement – made me both admire and dislike her at the same time. As unsettling as it was, I have to give her credit for how flawlessly everything fell into place.

The initially peaceful situation slowly begins to fall apart. Accusations start flying, with characters blaming one another while being completely off the mark. When the truth finally starts to surface – a moment I had been waiting for – it left me eager for more.
