Review:

We meet Bryn, a thief whose latest mission leaves her barely escaping with her life. To get back home, there is only one ship available. The problem is that the captain is someone she has crossed paths with before, and she happened to take something from him. She takes a risk (staying behind is obviously not an option), and once she can no longer hide from him, things become very interesting. 🙂

Their dynamic was so much fun to watch. They clearly left an impression on each other during their initial encounter, and I was very eager to see where things would go this time around. I was not disappointed. Despite being a rather short book, it provides enough context to make it easy to get into the story and understand where we are and who everyone is. If you’re looking for something short and sweet between longer reads, this would be a perfect choice. It can be read as a stand-alone also.
