Review:

I have the feeling that Cherry Hollow is not the right town for you if you:

have done anything criminal in the past
aren’t a nice person
are hiding secrets
or have anything else you’d like to keep buried 🙂

It’s a town you want to stay away from, and if you leave, don’t you dare come back. And definitely don’t consider moving there. The first book in the series already made it clear that if you’re not the perfect individual, something out there is coming for you – and it doesn’t forget.
We start off with a journalist who investigated the town and its past, only to become so freaked out by what he discovered that he never wants to return. Sounds promising, right?
Then we’re immediately thrown into a house fire, and when we jump back in time a bit, it becomes clear that something terrible must have happened to get us there.
And what a dramatic, weird, and crazy ride it was back to the present day. How quickly things can go south in the blink of an eye is astounding, and a testament to an amazing book that drew me in immediately and seamlessly connected elements from the previous book with the story told in this one.
And that ending promises that the final book won’t be slowing down anytime soon.
