📚 What if a letter from a stranger shows up in you 📚 What if a letter from a stranger shows up in your mailbox, that feels like the person knows you - only to be written in the past?🌙 Recension: The Love of Another Life by Emma Cooper📚 Genre: Romance📅 Release Date: June 8, 2026📖 Publisher: ‎Boldwood Books📗 available in various formats – included in Kindle Unlimited📱 Read as: Kindle💸 I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.🗣️ Language: English📆 Pages: 349⭐️ 4/5Review:Alice moves back home after recently becoming single again. She left a life behind that was comfortable and stable - until it wasn’t. Starting over and being jobless are never easy. She is supported by her best friend and his daughter. It becomes clear rather quickly that there is something more lingering between Spencer and Alice, who have known each other since childhood, but it never developed into anything serious. Then we have our second timeline, where we meet Michael through his letters. In them, he describes meeting a stranger in 1985, and he was instantly smitten with her. Why these letters suddenly show up in Alice’s mailbox after all this time - and why they describe a woman who feels oddly familiar to her, as if he somehow knew her - that is the mystery Alice is trying to solve. She has found a new purpose and wants to find out who he is and why he wrote to this woman. The beginning of the book had me instantly connected to the story. Alice felt lost, and those letters gave her a purpose. Did she become a little overly focused on solving the riddle and ignore what was happening around her? Yes. This only added to my frustration, and it’s what made me personally get attached to the characters. In the early stages, these letters even had me wondering if there was a possibility that Alice is the person he met. That part was done very well.As the story continues, it becomes more about second chances, moving on, and seeing what is right in front of you. It made me feel good, kept me engaged the whole time, and even brought a tear to my eye. A very interesting read that I enjoyed a lot.#arcread#bookstagramgermany
✨ HAPPY RELEASE DAY ✨ 📚 May I interest you in a ✨ HAPPY RELEASE DAY ✨ 📚 May I interest you in a crazy wild ride? If you like your romance without any spice, this is for you :)The Player (The Wedding Pact #2) by Rachel Thorne📚 Genre: Romance📅 Release Date: June 18, 2026📱 Read as: Kindle📗 included in Kindle Unlimited💸 I received an advance review copy, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.📆 Pages: 327⭐️ 4/5Review:If you thought the first book was already a wild ride, this one takes the cherry on top. What just happened? :)Blair is a few days away from getting married. It becomes clear rather quickly that it isn’t out of deep connection, love, or passion. It’s more out of convenience, which was very sad to see. I hated that guy immediately. When a weather situation causes a layover for her plane, she runs into her ex, Garrett, at a hotel—and this is when the craziness starts. Both clearly have some unresolved issues lingering, and when they learn that they’ll be working on a job together - and on top of that, that he’s the cousin of her future husband and part of the wedding - things can only get messy. And I was so here for it.I absolutely devoured the interactions within the families. The constant bickering, throwing shade at each other, and grown men acting like big children - it was something I didn’t know I needed, and what I got was so much more. I bow my head to Nan, who was such an interesting character, and I can only hope to be a little bit like her when I grow up :)Was it a bit over the top at times? Absolutely. But that makes for a very entertaining read, doesn’t it? :)#happyreleasyday #arcread#theweddingpactseries

📚 What a crazy roller-coaster ride was that? 🌙 Re 📚 What a crazy roller-coaster ride was that?🌙 Recension: Rising Waters by Aleatha Romig📚 Genre: Mystery Thriller📅 Release Date: June 15, 2026📖 Publisher: ‎Romig Works📗 included in Kindle Unlimited📱 Read as: Kindle💸 I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.🗣️ Language: English📆 Pages: 414⭐️ 5/5Review:We start off rather innocent: someone going for a run before work. But then he is hit by a car. After that, we pick up two weeks later, when his body is found. Jillian returns to her hometown to find out more. We learn that she has a connection to him, but we must be patient to discover it bit by bit. She has a rather untypical job, investigating criminal cases to allow the entertainment industry to make crime scenes / murders as realistic as possible on screen. That sounded so interesting and bizarre to me that I was immediately intrigued. On top of that, she is avoiding getting in contact with her family, which makes it clear that her leaving years ago comes with a lot of baggage -and I was here for it. When her sister becomes involved in a crime and she thinks that it is connected to the murder, I got so engaged in the story that I couldn’t put the book down. That was one of the best mystery thrillers I have read recently. I can't describe what reading this book did to me. It felt like a constant roller-coaster ride of emotions, and I had suspicions about certain connections, but I never expected it to be that intense. The crimes were also brutal and are not for the faint of heart, so be warned.I could go on and on about how different and amazing this felt, and I didn’t want it to stop. Just wow :)#arcread#mysterythrillers #bookstagramgermany
