Synopsis:
Of Silver and Curses
LOVE IS A LIE
Everyone I’ve cared about has left me. My coven. My mate. Even my sister — the only person I ever truly cared about. All of them walked away.
I’ve accepted my fate to be alone. My forest is enough for me and I have no intention of leaving it. But fate has something else in mind.
The cursed werewolf who stole my heart for a night — and broke it at dawn — has returned with grim news. Someone has taken both our sisters, and we must work together to save them. But if my enemies discover I’ve left my forest, they’ll stop at nothing to capture me.
And I’ll be putting all my trust in a person who loathes my existence…
LOVE IS A CURSE
Everyone I’ve cared about has suffered from love. I refuse to be bound by it. This kingdom is cruel and devious, which suits me fine because I’m just as wicked and far more clever.
But there is one person I love—my sister. And she’s vanished along with her lover — the damn witch’s sister.
I’ll do whatever it takes to get her back. Including returning to the witch who deceived me for a night. I may be a wolf trapped in human skin, but it won’t stop me from ripping out her heart once my sister is safe.
Because I’m a cursed werewolf…and it was the witches who damned me.
Of Melodies and Maledictions (Prequel Novella)
THE WITCH OF THE WOODS
I protect my sister. And I protect my forest. That’s all I care about. All I need.
But a series of unfortunate events leads to me having to step outside of my beloved woods. The hunt is simple. Find the men who dared to trespass. End them. Return home.
What’s not simple? The thief with the dark eyes and a sly grin that calls to me like no one else has. But I’m the Witch of the Woods. And love is a dangerous thing.
THE CURSED WEREWOLF
I protect my sister. And I protect my troupe. That’s all I care about. All I need.
When the opportunity to get revenge—and money—falls into my lap…I can hardly say no. It’s just a simple job. Find the man who hurt someone I care about. Take his money and his life. Return home.
But the mysterious woman who invites herself to our heist is anything but simple. And the pull I feel towards her… it’s like nothing I’ve ever known. But I’m a cursed werewolf. And love is a dangerous thing.

Review:
Of Silver and Curses
I had the pleasure of listening to this as an audiobook, and while I might not be a fan of a lot of spice, I have to say that this one kept me very entertained.
Our FMC and MMC couldn’t be more different, but they also have a lot in common. When they first met, they had a connection (mainly physical, though), but when they learned who they really were, it resulted in them disliking each other – not because of a concrete reason, but more because of a past they weren’t responsible for. A past that shaped who they are today, as both had to face loss and rejection in different ways. When their siblings fall in love, they don’t enjoy being connected in this way, but when they go missing, there is no doubt in their minds that they need to overcome their dislike and come together to find them.
Is this trope something completely new? Is the outcome somewhat expected? Yes. Did that take away from it being an entertaining story? Definitely not. I had a lot of fun with it, and once I started accepting things for what they are, I found myself rooting for this couple – a lot 🙂. If you like your characters messy and being forced together on a mission (where they form a bond and start to like each other – a lot), this one will be for you, and you will enjoy it a lot. It gives you exactly what you want in this type of story.
Of Melodies and Maledictions
This one takes an event that was already mentioned in the main story: how our couple initially met, felt connected to each other, and learned who they really are.
It adds a bit more background to our characters and the world, but not too much to the overall story. It is short and quick, and the audiobook was an enjoyable experience.
Is this something you absolutely must read or listen to? No – but you won’t mind it either.
