📚 What if everytime you pick up the phone, bad thi 📚 What if everytime you pick up the phone, bad things happen?🌙 Recension: Don’t Answer the Phone by Miranda Rijks📚 Genre: Thriller📅 Release Date: March 8, 2026📖 Publisher: Inkubator Books📗 available in various formats – included in Kindle Unlimited📱 Read as: Kindle💸 I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.🗣️ Language: English📆 Pages: 290⭐️ 4/5Review:The opening pages set the tone immediately. It becomes clear right away that this is a story built on uncertainty. One that invites you to question everything and everyone. That sense of not knowing whom to trust is exactly the kind of beginning I love. From there, the story moves quickly as we meet the main characters. We have an unhappy wife who, after years of marriage, is frustrated by the lack of physical connection with her husband. When she rescues an elderly woman from a mugging and meets the woman’s son, the instant attraction signals that change is coming, and that those changes will have consequences for everyone involved. What starts as a simple act of betrayal gradually becomes something far more complicated. The possessive nature of the MMC intensifies as the story progresses, and the growing sense that this won’t end well gives the book a fast-paced, addictive quality. I ended up reading it in a single sitting. While the themes aren’t entirely new to the genre, the execution kept me engaged from start to finish. If you enjoy thrillers that blend tension, obsession, and emotional fallout, this one will be right up your alley.
Finally getting around to reading this one. Thanks Finally getting around to reading this one. Thanks @hambright_pr#arcreader#lucyscoreauthor#currentreads

For Cassidy Knox, it’s starting to feel like a pattern. As her retirement from the FBI approaches, Cassidy is trying to focus on her new life - running an animal sanctuary and exploring a promising relationship. But when a body is found in the Florida Everglades, trapped in a giant crab cage, a personal connection pulls her back into a case she can’t ignore. What begins as a reluctant favor quickly turns dark as Cassidy uncovers a serial killer operating in the small town of Gator Glade. Still haunted by a past encounter she barely survived; she’s forced to face her deepest fears once again. As danger closes in and a watcher lurks in the shadows, Cassidy realizes the threat may be closer than she ever imagined.Grave Waters is a gripping blend of mystery, suspense, and romance that keeps the tension high until the final page.
🌙 Recension: The Alchemy Before The Dawn (Lightles 🌙 Recension: The Alchemy Before The Dawn (Lightless Alchemist #1) by Hayley Pierce📚 Genre: Romance, Fiction📅 Release Date: September 26, 2025 (initial release under Aubade Rising, relaunch Feb 2026 with new title + Cover)📱 Read as: Kindle📗 available in various formats – included in Kindle Unlimited💸 Bought🗣️ Language: English📆 Pages: 364⭐️ 4/5The Glass Between the Tides is the second book in the Lightless Alchemist - available for pre-orderReview:We live in a world where the use of magic is suppressed and essentially forbidden, unless it benefits the powerful. Sage is desperately trying to channel her magic, to shape and control it. She’s close to a breakthrough, but her latest attempt fails. When she’s suddenly attacked by rebels fighting the regime, she’s forced to flee and ends up in a situation where she’s offered the chance to continue her work in secret.Sage isn’t trusted and is immediately suspected of being a rebel herself, especially by Eskar, the captain of the king’s guard. Circumstances keep pushing them together, and it slowly becomes clear they may have more in common than either expected. For Sage to continue her mission, she must leave her protected haven and reluctantly team up with Eskar. On their journey, both learn that achieving a shared goal requires cooperation and trust. What I enjoyed most was the gradual way the relationship between the two main characters developed. It never felt forced or rushed. Their connection grows naturally and goes deeper than simple physical attraction. They’re both shaped by the situations they’ve been thrust into, and what stood out for me was that the story doesn’t gloss over an early event that has a significant emotional impact on Sage. Disappointment and pain aren’t brushed aside; the narrative allows both characters the time and space to truly understand this.I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how the story continues after the cliffhanger at the end of Book 1.#hayleypierce#LightlessAlchemistseries
