Review:

This was slightly different from what I expected, and I probably enjoyed it even more because of that. We have two strangers meeting at an airport in a situation that isn’t your typical interaction, but one that leaves a mark. It clearly shows that there is an instant connection between them and that they seem to share some traits in common.
These two do not expect to meet again only hours later, and the surprise feels realistic. Both are initially very confused by it and try to keep their distance. However, that is not something they can do for long because, as with everything in smaller towns, everyone knows everyone, and everyone interacts with everyone in some way. And that’s when the real fun starts happening 🙂
Two very stubborn people learn to find a way into each other’s hearts.

It is rare that I feel the romance in a story can stand on equal footing with the main plot, but it was done really well here. I never had the feeling that one was competing with the other, and they blended together very naturally. I also did not expect to learn so much about wine, but here we are.
The supporting cast was something I appreciated a lot as well, and everyone contributed in a different way. I was pleasantly surprised by this book, and while some things felt like classic genre elements (which can be a little cheesy here and there), it left me feeling good about picking this one up.
