Synopsis:
Beneath the serene facade of the quiet village of Snowshill, a web of secrets and shadows waits to be unraveled by two courageous sisters, Victoria and Alice. “The Bridge of Fire” plunges readers into a chilling tale of mystery, evil, and a quest for truth that could shatter the bonds of sisterhood—or forge them stronger in the fires of adversity.
Victoria, haunted by vivid dreams that seem more premonition than fantasy, discovers with Alice a diary hidden away, revealing a series of unexplained murders that stain the village’s past. This discovery sets them on a treacherous path, unearthing an ancient malevolence long buried but not forgotten, now awakened with a vengeance that threatens to engulf not just the sisters but the entire village.
Alice, propelled by a fierce desire for retribution, embarks on a daring journey into Snowshill’s underbelly, using her intelligence and charm to navigate the perilous realms of deceit and danger. Her quest for vengeance transforms into a high-stakes game of deception, where every choice could be fatal, and the truth is as elusive as the shadows at dusk.
As the sisters dive deeper into the village’s dark history, they find themselves ensnared in a cycle of history doomed to repeat itself, unless they can break free. With each twist and turn, Victoria and Alice confront their fears, their bonds tested as they face adversaries both human and otherworldly.
The Bridge of Fire is not just a journey into the heart of a mystery; it is a gripping exploration of the strength found in sisterhood, the price of truth, and the courage required to face the unknown. As destiny plays its cruel and kind hands, Victoria and Alice learn that some secrets carry a weight too heavy for the living, and the quest for truth might lead them to a fate worse than death.
In the end, one haunting question Who will survive to tell the tale of Snowshill? With an unforgettable blend of suspense, supernatural elements, and emotional depth, this novel promises to keep readers enthralled until the very last page.

Review:
This book had a lot of potential. An eerie village, an atmosphere that constantly keeps you guessing, and two sisters brought back together after their aunt’s death. Early on, it becomes clear that something in their past left a deep mark, and the sisters set out to uncover what really happened.
The beginning pulled me in immediately, but the story lost some momentum as it went on. Certain character interactions and the pacing felt a bit off, and I found myself wishing for more to keep my attention consistently engaged. The direction it went into, I also wasn’t 100% on board with. I was missing a bit the Mystery part of it, nor was was it a Thriller. In ended up being something in between. Overall, it was okay, just not fully convincing for me in every aspect.
