Synopsis:

Review:
This book truly surprised me.I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. I connected with Kasira right away. She hasn’t had an easy life and often finds herself in situations where she has very little choice. Her position as an outsider, with almost no control over her daily circumstances, made her someone I immediately felt for. So when she’s offered a possible way out, it’s no wonder she takes the chance.
When she arrives at the library, she’s met with resistance and a very grumpy Librarian, and as she pursues her goal, she begins to uncover a much deeper truth. She learns just how important the well-being of the beasts really is, and that the situation is far more complex than a simple story of corruption, survival, and trying to carve out a place for herself while escaping a difficult past.
This was a book I couldn’t put down. I found myself rooting for Kasira to make the right decisions and to grow into the strong person she clearly has the potential to become.
