Review:
This is the third book from the author I’m reading, and I enjoy the writing style a lot. Easy to go through and entertainable.
The story is rather simple. An actress is short on money and shows up at an audition. We have a rockstar with a troubled past, looking for a fresh start with his band. The physical attraction between them is instantly there. What follows are weeks of them spending time together while getting to know each other more. The physical aspect is a bit more noticeable here and we must trust that they connect also on an emotional level. I felt like a bit more show vs. tell us about it could have been beneficial. I also understand that this is not intended to go too deep and is more of a enjoy it for what it is type of book. The other books just did it slightly better to get me on board.
Overall, I enjoyed this one and if you are looking for a easy and enjoyable romance (with a bit of spice), you might enjoy this one.
