Books Read December 2025

The last month of 2025 was an extremely successful month for me if we look at the number of books I read. What contributed to that was me being on vacation for half of the month and enjoying the time off to read. And read I did a lot 🙂 There were a lot of shorter ones in there, which usually takes me 2ish hours to finish also and a few longer ones. Overall, a very balanced reading month.

I was able to finish 41 books and 5 Audiobooks.

In case a dedicated Review is available, I’ll link to it below in case you are interested or missed the dedicated Review for it (some are still pending for the coming weeks).

Books Read December 2025

My favorites of the month:

Last month these books / series made it to the top of my list:

  • The Sand Games (Duology) – is one of my favority series for a long time. It felt fresh and new and I was engaged in the story for the whole time.
  • Fractured Fate – Was ist the most complex start into a fantasy series? No, but it had me smile for the majority of the book and I loved everything about it. Book 2 is already available and will be read this month for sure.
  • Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine – I bought this Audiobook years ago and finally got around to it. This one left an impression and I’m looking forward to doing a re-read later this year (ideally). Please add this to your reading list 🙂
  • The Whispers of a Lie (10 book series) – I am so happy the author reached out to me. Otherwise I would have missed this gem of a series (probably). It’s dark, it’s different and so addictive. Go and grab it yourself.
